Extended Profile
The Coffee Lounge at The Birmingham and Midlands Institute (BMI), Margaret Street, Birmingham is an Official BookCrossing Zone (OBCZ) in Central Birmingham.
Map showing the location of the BMI.
The shelf of books is in the middle section of the coffee house, which is on the first floor of the BMI. We have caught all the books currently there onto the bookshelf - if you take a book from the shelf, please make a journal entry as soon as you can so we can track its progress. If you add a book to the bookshelf, please make sure it is registered and labelled and we will catch it onto the shelf when we know it's there.
This shelf is managed by Birmingham-Rose
Monthly Birmingham bookcrossing meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of each month at Hudson's Coffee Shop, also in Central Birmingham, which is located on Colmore Row, Birmingham. See Hudsons-Bham for further details.
There is also a Yahoo Group for BookCrossers in the Birmingham area. Joining the group will enable you to chat with other local BookCrossers, get hints and tips and share any ideas that you may have - new members always very welcome!
