Recent Book Activity

Genres I like to read: Fantasy and SF, historical novels and all things supernatural. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches all work like a charm. And every now and then I pick up something that is not my usual taste - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The majority of books on my shelf are in English. Some of the books are in German, but they should be easy to spot.

If you see a book on the available shelf that you would like to have, let me know. If it's on the TBR shelf, still let me know. I can always do with some motivation to read a particular book and get it moving...

I read more and more ebooks and I do not register them here. I do journal them in my blog, have a look over there if you are interested.

Challenges

My Lifetime Release Challenge has been dormant since 2007. If you happen to be on my list of countries I haven't released to yet, feel free to have a look at my Available or TBR pile. If you find a book you might like, I will put it on top of my pile.

I also decided to take part in a Lifetime Challenge to read 1000 books-you-should-read-in-your-life, following this book:
Das Harenberg Buch der 1000 Bücher

The site is in German only, sorry. So far I ticked off 80 of the books on the list. I am not sure how I will keep track, as many of the books will be free eBooks from the Public Domain and I am baffled by how to maintain BCIDs for eBooks.
