Extended Profile
Finally ... I've got my OCD about my books under control now (slightly). I've recently cleaned up and organized my bookshelves, making me wonder where or who exactly my book addiction started from. I'm sure I'll find someone to blame. Or, rather, thank.
I'm a complete and utter bookworm. I've been reading since the age of 3 and a book has never been out of my reach. It tends to be my own opinion, but I find those whom hate to read are just plain tedious and lack imagination!
I don't keep paperbacks, (unless they are old books of Jacqueline Susann's. I LOVE her books! Guilty pleasure of mine) so therefore I am always releasing books into the wild, after reading them. I just find it being a fun thing to do in my community. Books are gems and hopefully people come across any of my registered books.
Some autographed copies of books I have are:
Pink Slip Party (Cara Lockwood)
Borderlines: A Memoir (Caroline Kraus)
The Torn Skirt (Rebecca Godfrey)
I have more on the way :) Although, I have received some autographed stuff from: Debra Ginsberg/Julianna Baggott/Roxanne St. Claire, Janet Fitch (Paint it Black is one of my all-time FAVORITE books) and Dorothea Benton Frank (Love, love, love Plantation and Pawley's Island)
Destinations I've received books from:
Munhall, PA/Lincoln, RI/Bellaire, TX/Dublin, Ireland/Cortez, CO/Clarkston, WA/Scotts Valley, CA/Binghamton, NY/New York, NY/Yakima, WA/Harrisburg, PA/Woodstock, AL/Waterloo, NY/Chicago, IL/Wilmington, DE/Blaine, WA/Delafield, WI/Durham, NC/Sayre, PA/Sherman, TX/New Orleans, LA/Portland, OR/Livonia, MI/Wellsville, MO/Mountlake Terrace, WA/Palmetto, FL./Jonesboro, GA/St. Claire, WI/Shelton, WA/Davis, CA/Atlanta, GA/Oklahoma City, OK/Brockport, NY
Countries:
Germany, Ireland
First Editions: (my own personal copies)
Thicker than Water - Kathryn Harrison
Wifey - Judy Blume

No Lifeguard on Duty - Janice Dickinson
Shadow of the Dolls - Jacqueline Susann
My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
Tara Road - Maeve Binchy
I Know This Much is True - Wally Lamb
Summer Sisters - Judy Blume (definitely another of my FAVORITES)
