Recent Book Activity

I have loved books all my life and I am now 83, as of October 2010! I just celebrated my sixth year as a Bookcrosser.

My favourite types of books are biographies and autobiographies.

Currently, (August 2011), I am reading Wayson Choy's "The Jade Peony" and I think he's a great writer. The history of the Chinese coming to British Columbia in the early 20th century is fascinating.

I also enjoy knitting, gardening and my grandchildren. As I edit this in 2011, I have reached my 83rd - almost 84th year (October '11) and I hope to read for years more.
