Note to all:
I am currently in the midst of enormous amounts of stress/craziness with work/school/moving/holidays/car issues, and am not able to mail off any book boxes, so please don't send any my way. I will do my very utmost to respond to any messages, but I don't currently
have internet at home. Thanks so much for understanding!
-----------------------------------------------------------
A huge thank you going out to the marvelous DrSlump612 for the wonderful collection of Roald Dahl books, as well as another couple of books I'm looking forward to, sent as a RABCK. What a pleasure to look through, and I'm sure it will be even more so to
read. :D Thank you thank you!
Another big thanks to dallasjay for the huge box of paperbacks that I'm working on reading, passing along, and releasing in various ways. :D Thank you so so much! They're just great. :D
-----------------------------------
I'm really hoping to get more people involved in bookcrossing in the area, and I'm trying to see if I can't get a group started in Kennesaw, maybe near Kennesaw State University, where I attend. I would really love if more KSU students would get involved, but
just about any involvement would be really great!! I'm also going to try to start up an OBCZ in either the Teachers Resource & Activity Center or library at the university. Dallasjay's box of books might help me jumpstart that!
------------------------------------
I am an absolute book addict, since before I could read myself. I have been consuming books at an alarming rate all my life, and intend to keep on doing so, although my progress is somewhat slowed down by being a full time student [KSU] (although that does
also require reading, just not the type I enjoy the most), holding down a wonderful nannying job, and crafting for my shop (see website listed). However, I will often read just about any book I can get my hands on.
I am planning to do some really big wild releases this fall, but I would love to trade as well! Check out my availables for trades, and some TBR. My specific wild release books are listed, and I MIGHT be tempted to send them, but mostly I really would like
to hold onto them for a release. Just ask though! Most of my books sent out have been RABCK or trades. I love to put books into the hands of folks who really want them. :) I have really loved sending out a few RABCKs and will probably do so more in the future,
although I like to do so as a surprise.
I'm trying to trade for some books that I really want, and money is real tight right now (stupid beastly car/school/life). I have enjoyed doing some RABCKs, and wild releasing. I'm also looking forward to a Kennesaw Bookcrossing Meetup! Hopefully I can get
more folks on my campus interested in bookcrossing as well.

I use paperbackswap too:
brianslittlegirl. :) I love it!! It's where I got my first actual catch/journal. Also, my boyfriend's account on PBS, and now here on BC too is
Spartan21, and I manage those accounts for him some, so feel free to ask me about any of the books on those accounts!
I have an account on RABCK.com too and always loving surprises in the mail. :) The only books that I just will not read under any circumstance are Mystery/Thrillers/Horror type novels, excepting classics. I'm also not a fan of chik-lit, books on spirituality
or romances (other than those of Nicholas Sparks and perhaps others like him).
Favorite Authors:
- M. L'Engle
- Margaret Atwood (looking for unread books by her)
- C.S. Lewis (sci-fi)
- Tolkien
- Roald Dahl (always looking for more books by him! If I have it, I know I'd love to have a spare to release. :D )
- Amy Tan
- Nicholas Sparks
I love sci-fi/fantasy, as well as folk tales. I'm really looking for some Scandinavian folk tales right now, as well as ethnic cookbooks, espescially Native America, Swedish, Hungarian, German, Welsh, Scottish, and Cuban, preferably with meals I might actually be able to make on a student/part-time nanny budget, and/or kid friendly that I might be able to use in my future classroom! I also love childrens books, and, as a future teacher, and trying to build up a library of children's books. With this in mind, some of the childrens books that I receive I would love to put in my Permanent Collection, although I will be sure to abide with your wishes if you specify differently for any books sent my way. :)
Working on saving animal titled books for You're Such an Animal release in September
Non-book wish: bookcrossing sticky notes, release bags, bookmarks, and labels. :) I'm going to be releasing books MASSIVELY this fall, but just cannot afford the supplies, so many books will be going out with my meager printed out labels and written notes. I'd love more professional supplies!
Labels Most Desired:
Children's Labels
Animal Labels (I esp. like the one with the jungle animals reading)
I'm trying to prep for a big release this fall, but can't really afford buying release supplies, so any help would be extremely appreciated! I'd also love to trade books for supplies. Just ask!
I'm working on a sort of long term project, collecting books recomended in the book Summer Reading is Killing Me to use for some sort of book release/sharing program that I am not completely solid on yet. :) Probably I will be starting sharing the books next summer, so I can get a good amount of books together. I would love to get a couple of copies of each book so that I can perhaps do a combination share/release.
