Apologies if the shelf is in a mess. I'm updating and reorganising. Learning HTML is fun!
Hi there!
I've got loads and loads of books to give away, trade or lend out that are yet to be registered, sorry!
If you've found a book released by me, congratulations!! Please, oh, please, register it with its BCID number at
Bookcrossing so I can stop worrying if it's soaking in the rain or stuck in a trash can. You may keep it if you like, but I would
very much prefer that free books remain free to travel.
If you are sending a book to me, could you please, please use stamps so that I can have a memory of your country?
This is the active bookshelf where most books are:
Available - PM me for trade (erm, you do know it's not nice to ask for a free book, right? Don't worry, once in a while, I might be announcing RABCKs in the forum)
Reserved - To be sent on its way to someone else's home
TBR - To Be Read before its fate is decided
Travelling - Out of my hands, to end up in someone else's shelf
PC - Permanent Shelf - The few books from other BC-ers that I keep, with permission of course.
My own PC books are snapped in chains to be released, with conditions, to friends only. They are listed at
ServinTime.
If you have any books in my wish list, please do drop a line and I'll see if I can arrange a trade.
I'm also trying to pick up Mandarin, so am keen to trade books for:
i) horribly simple Chinese-stories-for-kiddies and
ii) books which explain how the characters are formed
Have some children's books in Malay to trade, if anyone wants to pick up the language.
To all the Malaysian bookcrossers who's won books from me, have I sent the prizes to you, yet? If not, please send me a reminder (choice of prize and address also) so I can get to it already!
Again, the winners are:
October:
1.Suryati/walkthrulife
2.Emily/Auntyjo57
Special prize for Journaller with Most Effort:
3.Andy/WittySquirrel
November:
1.Zarina/Babyimran (claimed)
Special prize for Most Impressive Bookshelf:
2.Nuhaa/ann-718my (claimed)
December:
1.Emily/Auntyjo57
Books listed as releases are really released - left into the wild to tempt people to read more. ;) Books passed to fellow bookcrossers and friends are journaled instead.
Round One of Release: Sept 10-12, 2004 (Four books)
I chickened out, but you can still Read All Books That Won The Booker Prize.
When I can breathe easier, will also prepare for the Charbono's challenge: AROUND THE WORLD IN 233 books - Sending a book far, far away

Here's a really fun test: How fast are your eyes?
Current favourite phrase:
Temptation is an opportunity. An opportunity to do the right thing. How you respond will show the condition of your heart.
Current memory verse:
For wisdom is a defence, as money is a defence. But the excellent of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it. ~ Ecclesiastes 7:12
