Check out my
Flickr profile for more information about me, or
click here to see my hi5 friends network. I also keep a weblog at
campos-magneticos.blogspot.com, but it's only very occasionally that I post anything there. Mostry, I enjoy reading sci-fi and comics, although other things are welcome as well. Click
here to see all books at my bookshelf on a single page (thanks to

Bookcrossing is great fun... It's a great excuse for reading more books and believe me, you'll be meeting very interesting people. Geeks, bookworms, writers... you name it, no matter how strange your hobbies are you'll find other frindly bookcrossers who share
your interests.
If you just found this and have no ideia what bookcrossing is than here goes a brief explanation... Having dusty books in your home shelfs seems like a big waste so why not share them and let them inspire others. From this concept, in April 2001, an American
guy called Ron Hornbaker created this site on 28 days. Being completely free, the website allows people to free their books, either permanently by releasing them on designated spots, or temporarily
by lending them in "bookrings" or in "bookrays". Imagine this as a global library, kinda like that of which Jorge Luis Borges dreamed. Check out the
entry page for more information.
There are also forums (one specifically for Portuguese speaking bookcrossers where I hang out a lot with people calling me beg), "journal entries" where people review the books they've read, live meetups from
time to time where bookcrossers share books and talk about what they've read... Like I said, lot's of fun to be had here.
