Recent Book Activity

I am an author of fiction and nonfiction books for children, teenagers, and adults, and an avid reader of books for all age groups, including science fiction and fantasy, historical fiction, history, biography, literary fiction, poetry, and more.

Currently I'm collecting books for a Book Swap at my son's elementary school, a Title I public school with a lot of kids whose families don't own a single book. I'd love anything suitable for Kindergarten through fifth-graders, picture books to YA, in either English or Spanish. Our oldest children are 11 years old, so please don't send books aimed at the older end of the YA audience; some of these kids have high enough reading levels, but the subject matter needs to be suitable for age 11 or younger. Also, we can't use obvious preschool books; our youngest children are 5 years old. Thanks!
