I'm a published author and ghostwriter, and was a financial journalist for over seven years. I wrote my first (unpublished) novel at 25, and continue to use my writing and grammar skills in my current career creating financial education materials for one of the largest mutual fund companies in the U.S.

I have an MBA in marketing, which means I'm one of those rare people who actually enjoy reading business books and biographies. My favorite authors are Richard Russo and Douglas Coupland, although satirist David Sedaris is up there, too. I have a weakness for graphic novels and comic books, and read just as many magazines as books.

I am an avid cyclist, raising money for the LiveSTRONG Foundation each year through its charity ride held here in Philadelphia. My wife is also an avid reader, and I'd love to try my hand at a children's book once we start a family.
