Extended Profile
I think i look like Shrek but with glasses. Less green tho perhaps... Started reading comics like 2000AD as a youngster in preference to books. I think the first book i actually read out of choice was Agatha Christies 'Murder on the Orient Express' and
i loved it. Oddly after that it was to be mainly Sci-Fi reading for me. Finally got around to reading 'The Hobbit' at the grand age of 27 which naturally led to my first reading of 'The Lord of the Rings'. I now try to read LOTR every year, i love it so much.
I have to admit to starting to read the first Harry Potter book and putting it down from disinterest, then picking it up again and absolutely adoring the series! I also have all the books on CD as read by Stephen Fry which i enjoy immensely. Dan Brown is another
of my favourite authors, my best pick being 'Angels and Demons'. My eternal thanks to Retromonkey for her reading support and for introducing me to BC. If you see me at an event come on over and say Hi but remember to bring a pitchfork or firey torch for your
own protection!!
