Extended Profile
I am a slow-blooming artist, writer, scholar, and arts advocate. I am an active volunteer in my community and have also homeschooled my son. I like swimming, biking, yoga, and any other exercise that qualifies as fun and not work. I am learning to play
piano and am a voracious reader, some world history/politics, philosophy, and Christian theology but mostly great fiction and poetry, classics, modern women's fiction(not trash) and Asian-influence. In the spirit of the Word on the Street mass-release project,
I have conspired with a fellow BC'er to periodically do a mass-release of books to some of the public Bookcrossing shelves locally that are sorely in need of good literature. If you like my taste in books, be on the lookout for some of them in your neighbourhood!
** I am planning on entering my personal library onsite under the "private/personal collection heading, which I may make available for loan to local Bookcrossers (GVRD region) ** I regret to inform International Bookcrossers that I can only afford to TRADE/LOAN
my Bookcrossing books w/i Continental N. America for other books I'm interested in, or I "free" them locally. If you're looking for a bookfairy with deep pockets, I'm very sorry, but I'm not her!! ;)
