I am retired on the mid north coast of NSW and enjoy an active social life as l live on a golfing estate with many active like minded people. We are lucky to have a very nice library in our small coastal community and l meet with my book club friends there once a month. I also belong to the garden club in the area and enjoy scrapbooking every week. There are beautiful beaches a short drive from my home so l love to walk on the beach with my dog. I also swim laps and exercise at the local aquatic centre about three times a week. I lived in the UK and Canada for 12 years, working for law firms and in international banking. I also owned a tourist business in Mudgee for 20 years with accommodation, restaurant, extensive gardens, craft shop, and friendship farm with lots of farm animals and bird aviaries. My two children had an idyllic childhood growing up in the country. After the farm was sold l worked in a disability group home and then in aged care. Both these jobs were challenging and rewarding. I have also written five best selling books in the Annie series of craft and cook books, with over 100,000 books sold. Now l am retired l hope to have more craft books published. I have previously written a number of articles for popular magazines. I look forward to being involved with Book Crossing and to the Convention in April in Melbourne, and to meeting new people.
