"As you read a book word by word and page by page, you participate in its creation, just as a cellist playing a Bach suite participates, note by note, in the creation, the coming-to-be, the existence, of the music. And, as you read and re-read, the book of course participates in the creation of you, your thoughts and feelings, the size and temper of your soul."
Ursula K. Le Guin

I'm happy to trade in the U. S. for anything marked available on my shelf. I was mainly wild-releasing, but have now gotten into the fun of trades and rings/rays as well.

I am now helping Laurellane maintain an OBCZ in Waco, TX. Check out the bookshelf for LeverenzISUZU.

I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I am a native Texan and I love to travel, play card games, and try new foods. My other online hobby is WheresGeorge.com, a money-tracking site (my WG name is affinity). I learned about BC from an ad in Mental Floss magazine. BC is a great website because it helps spread the love of reading around (and it's fun!).

Some of my favorite authors are Margaret Atwood, Sheri S. Tepper, Virginia Woolf, Michael Cunningham, Stephen White, Orson Scott Card, Nancy Kress, Roald Dahl, Elizabeth Peters, Janet Evanovich, Alexander McCall Smith- the list goes on! I like Harry Potter, cozy mysteries, novels, sci-fi, a little fantasy, future utopias/dystopias and books with a bit of a feminist slant. My bookshelf does not give a very good picture of my preferences, since I can not yet part with many of my favorites. I love finding books at great prices at library or garage sales. I recently discovered Charles De Lint and Jane Yolen.

Soon restarting my Cozy mystery book box with the help of MaryZee.
