The black ribbon I am using as my picture is to remember those killed and injured in the Madrid bombings of 3/11, and was suggested by BCer Bradomin on the Spanish forum.

In addition I would like to remember all victims of the current political world hatred regardless of what they believe, who they are or where they are.

I learned about this great site from a friend who found a book. I have a great number of books that I have sitting around that I don't ever get around to re-reading that I plan on releasing.

Currently I will be having a lot of AVL books, this is just until I get my book-labels in and can release them.... if you want to be the first stop on any of them, let me know.

Because of recent increase in people asking for RABCKs and the associated arguments about it on the forum, I thought I should clarify my stand on these requests as it relates to my bookshelf:

• If a book is marked Available go ahead and ask. I will consider the request based on, how much money I have available for shipping, if you are frequent releaser, my gut feeling at the time, etc.
• If I do not have the money to ship it to you, I will let you know. I you /really/ want the book and would like to pay for the shipping then such can be arranged on a per case basis, but do not try to appeal to me with the "its only x dollars" line. You have been warned.
• If a book is marked to be read, ask. I may say no, I may not, depends on how long I plan on taking to read and absorb it.
• If a book is part of my permanent collection, don't ask unless you are a local friend. If I know you, have had a good relationship with you on the site, maybe I can do a loan, but many of my PC books are very rare and fragile, so don't be surprised if you are not a local friend if I say no.
