~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just reread my little bio paragraph and was not impressed. At the moment though I'm not feeling especially eloquent so you'll have to settle for the basics. I am currently a sophmore at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and I LOVE it. Any high school seniors looking for colleges should definitely consider Macalester. I am originally from Minnnesota, however I spent the last 5 years of my life in Warsaw, Poland. My family moved back last June, and I am STILL unpacking. Aside from that I guess it will suffice to simply say that I think the idea of BookCrossing is magical. Fate, karma, whatever you want to call it, the idea of finding a book with a story within it as well as about it is just cool. I haven't had the chance to find one yet, living in Poland was not conducive to the finding of books in English, but I hope that having returned to the States I will have the opportunity to be a part of one of those lovely coincidences. As for me, well, I am a self-proclaimed sap and will cry at just about anything including the happy endings of which I am so fond. Oddly I enjoy things with sad endings as well. I gave my brother a terrible fright when I began sobbing towards the end of the 5th Harry Potter book. That said, I'm not an emotional basketcase personally, just when it comes to fictional characters. :-D
As to my books, most are marked To Be Read, and I do intend to read them all...eventually. However, if you would like the chance to read them first I am more than happy to lend books out as long as I am assured of their well-being and safe return. Please feel free to PM me if you would like to borrow something. :-D
