I am a 46yo mother of three young-adults in Melbourne Australia. Books are my passion and my weakness. I am also a volunteer breastfeeding counsellor, love photography and scrapbooking and LOVE the internet! I am a Bookcrosser and a Freecycler. I collect vintage parenting and mothering books as well as children's books.

I also get to review parenting books as part of my work. Some parenting books in my collection get a big thumbs down from me - I practise and encourage gentle parenting techniques, full term breastfeeding and do not support strict regimes to modify or control infant behaviour.

Most books on my shelf have been read by me or are part of Mount To Be Read! Lots of them are actually at the local library, which is brilliant! But there are still several thousand on my actual shelves at home!

My life in books .... my books in life! Despite releasing 100s of books through Bookcrossing, I continue to collect them! I love trawling for treasure in used book shops, markets, garage sales and charity shops.
