I am the guy formerly known as LonelyGuy.
The X was added because friends at BookCrossing took my name literally and were concerned about me... isn't that nice. I never have been lonely but I do like my own company and often visit coffee shops, cafes, cinemas etc on my own. One cafe in particurlar here in my home town, a small seaside resort in Lancashire NW England, has a lot of small tables for one or two people. I called this the lonely guy caff and as I frequented it more than is good for me I became LonelyGuy.
The Lonely Guy is also the title of a Steve Martin film which I found rather amusing.
