Dear fellow BookCrossers, I'm a writer, and the thought of having some of my own books released into the wild is very exciting - so far two books have been released by others in the US, but none here in Oz - yet!

Over the past ten years I've published over seventy children's books, fiction and non-fiction, many of them readers for beginners, others ranging up into the secondary information field. I've written on theatre being a playwright as well), snakes and bats, epidemics and the lost Franklin expedition to find the North-West passage, marathons, time and the tides. Lots of my fiction inlcudes animals, food (or both), humour and different people's perceptions and the power of relationships.

Latest news: my first trade book, 'The Princess and the Unicorn' has just come out with Penguin Australia, and I'm having a book launch for it at 3pm on 12th March at Marian Street Theatre, 2 Marian Street Killara, NSW. We'll have food for both princesses and unicorns, and we (shhh!) expect a visit from a unicorn - consider yourself invited. Young princes and princesses in costume especially welcome!
