My Wish List
Thanks Cliff1976!
Books that are available ARE available, but I always trade them for an other book. In short: a book for a book.
"Libraries gave us power,
Then work came and made us free.
What price now, for a shallow piece of history."
Manic Street Preachers - A Design For Life
The quote on top of this page is a good one, because this what we are doing. Together We are building a "open air library." I joined Bookcrossing because I find the idea wonderful. And as a librarian I'm allways referring people to books.
I always liked books. Because that's why I became a librarian. Although being a photo archivist you don't see that many books. Luckily I can read a lot in my spare time. Sometimes it's hard because we've got twins in the house. You can see pictures on our website.
Of course I read al lot to them. They listen very well and react at the pictures. Nanda (my wife) and I read to them in two languages, because we are practically bilangual (Dutch and English) and anglophile. Other activities are photography, cooking and hiking.
My ideal book could be a book on childfriendly restaurants in the country where you can hike and illustrated with beautiful photos.
