It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Recent Book Activity

Extended Profile
Well, I guess it's obvious that I love to read, otherwise I wouldn't have registered here. The types of books I read depends on my mood and the season. For example; romances are great when I'm stressed, or don't have much time (fast reading). I'm not much
on horror, non-fiction, or westerns, but these have their exceptions.
I think I like to buy books as much, if not more, than I like to read them. It's like Christmas when I was a kid. I would get so anxious for Christmas morning to see what gifts Santa had brought. I'm like this with each new book I buy, anxious to find out what's inside them.
I like to use Bookcrossing as a reference tool to help me pick out the next book I'm going to buy/read. I love to read everyone's journals on books. I don't get too indepth with my journals, but I try to give a reason for my ratings. I also like to read about books that I have read. It's fun to compare notes. It's amazing how one person will hate a book and the next will love it.
There are books on my bookshelf that I'm not willing to part with just yet. For instance, ones that I haven't read are not up for trade, but I don't mind keeping a waiting list for these. There are a few others, but I will put a journal entry letting it be known which ones I'm keeping.
