Recent Book Activity

I have lived in Port Angeles for 18 years now. Not quite half of my life but getting there!
Port Angeles is located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. We live 9 blocks from the Strait of Juan de Fuca and about a mile from the border of the Olympic National Forest. Our weather never gets overly warm or usually too terribly cold. It does have a tendency to get a little on the windy side but it isn't anything that we can't live with. Enough said about Port Angeles.
Cook books are my all time favorite thing to get. I must have been in my teens when I first started buying and getting cook books.
My hobbies other than cook books are sewing, cross stitch and my family. My husband and I are both involved in education. My daughter is a senior in standing at the high school but chooses to attend our local community college through the Running Start program and only takes Japanese at the high school.
I haven't had the time to be as active with Bookcrossing as I would like to be as work has kept me so busy lately that I leave the house at 7:15 am and don't get home until 8pm or later.

The few rings that I have put out have been successful. I wish that I could have said the same for my cookbook book box. Oh well...
