It's hard to know what to say here, as what I do and who I am are pretty much the same thing. I'll just jam this full 'o stuff I do, and via this, you'll find out what I dig, what I do, and who I am!

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I dig all kinds of music, not just psychobilly, so don't get started on my hair or whatever else ya feel may not place me in your ideals of what I should be - I skate 'round all kinds of musical & performance scenes as a host/emcee of events, so I dig what I dig..dig? I'm a huge lover of bebop and hard bop jazz, good psyhobilly & rockabilly music, always in search of the perfect cuntry tune to squeeze out them tears into my beers...you get the picture!

Hmmm...lesseee....what else...I’m a storyteller, graphic designer, artist, side show barker, publicist, promoter, producer, actor and emcee.

My "lowbrow" CIGAR BOX ART and old school tattoo infuenced artwork, like The Tattooed Torso of Tiny Tim, the Circus Sideshow Truck Driver & 10 in 1 are coveted by collectors from Canada and the US - who'd a thunk it, huh? I've shown with some of North America's finest lowbrow artists in conjunction with the TART GALLERY .

As an emcee and performer, I’ve shared the stage or screen with everyone from Leslie Nielson, the Fluffgirls Burlesque troupe, Shane Koyczan, Billy Bragg, Elvis Gold, to an 84 yeard old drag queen named "Lucious". My circus-sideshow work with the WORMWOOD BROS. CIRCUS SIDESHOW had me working alongside sideshow banner painter and musical genius KEVIN HOUSE and a whack of talented freaks, geeks and lovely dames!

I'm tattooed, and you can see a few of my pieces, like Capt. Don Leslie's signature and my bang gun, or my day of the dead skull by clickin' on the link to my website. I've designed tattoos for myself and others, and hope someday to learn the art myself.

I’m also the producer and host of the multiple award winning THUNDERING WORD HEARD , Vancouver's only spoken word/music fusion weekly open mic series (every Sunday - 8PM - Cafe Montmartre - 4362 Main St., Van. @ 28th). I feel pretty damned fortunate to be workshopping and performing my spoken word & poetry in schools across B.C., encouraging students to “expand on their vocabularies, forming a mental constabulary, arresting ignorance at hand - building bridges of wisdom over the dull beige schism torn by our sitcom mentalities."

My verbiage has played out on stages from Vancouver to Edmonton to Toronto. I was featured on zedTV (the poems- Invocation and Pedestrian Rage) and CBC radio performing my poetry. Apparently, my most notorious move to date was the nationally publicized debate between me and Canada’s Poet Laureate, George Bowering, on the validity of performance poetry as an artform – the general consensus? Performance Poets – 1, the Once-Were-Rebels – 0!

As a freelance broadcaster, I hosted a CBC television pilot series on video poetry and spoken word, “Spoken Heard”, featuring the talents of Sheri D. Wilson, Timothy Hutton, Gord Downie, Leslie Nielsen and more. I also works as one of the BC correspondents for CITY TV Toronto’s BOOK TELEVISION, which has me hosting, producing, writing and directing each segment for the Daniel Richler-produced station.

The years 2002 and 2003 saw me producing & performing with my THUNDERING WORD HEARD stages for the Vancouver Folk Festival, the Vancouver Storytelling Festival and the Fringe Festival (BROKEN WORD -a free flow evening with DANIEL PACKARD).

As a character actor, I have over ¼ of a century of experience! My Toronto days were mostly spent on stage with the “Q-Art Theatre Co-op” under the artistic direction of Gabor Zsigovics. There, I honed all of the angles of theatre craft from stage manager, set decorator, publicist, and naturally, to actor in such plays as “Twelve Angry Men”, “The Accidental Death of an Anarchist”, “Medea” and more.

Once in Vancouver, I found myself in the cast of Vancouver’s longest running smash-hit comedy, “Tony’n Tina’s Wedding” portraying a series of eight characters over a five year span. One night, I’d would be Sal Antonnucci, the sleazy yet oddly charming wedding photographer, then Donnie Dulce the suave loungy wedding singer, on through to Timmy Sullivan the overtly gay wedding videographer. My favorite, however, was Sal!

I’m a collector of sideshow curios, the artwork of up-and-comers, old poster art, strange and wonderful toys, hats, vintage clothing from the 40's and 50's, books galore, and anything related to gambling and games dice!
