I'm a 19-year-old girl and I absolutely LOVE reading. I don't know exactly when I started doing so, but it must have been around... age 5? :)

My favourite genres are most definitely fantasy, mystery, drama, thriller/suspense and action - and I won't say no to some romance! Mostly, my possessions are in one of the former cathegories but I do have some others, like novels about WWII or coming-of-age like "Eleanor & Park" by Rainbow Rowell (liked it, did absolutely NOT like the ending).

I haven't been very active here (and I'm sooorry for that xD), but I'll try my best to keep it up here. I love the idea behind this whole business of bookcrossing a lot, since I know how it feels not to be able to read a book you want to read but not having the money to do so... and libraries are not always a reliable source, especially when it comes to books in a foreign language (I mean, seriously... not even Tad Williams? Come on, Library... what kind of b***shit is that?). And I LOVE reading a book in its original language (it depends on the language - I will never be able to read japanese novels in japanese, I'm afraid xD) because some things will be lost in translation - that's a fact, a sad one, maybe, but it's true. There ARE some amazing translators out there but nothing beats the original.
