Extended Profile
Hello bookfriends (both old and new)!
I really love the idea of bookcrossing. Some years ago, when I was working in Italy, I spent a few weeks at a house owned by my employer. Someone had forgotten/left a book in the dormitory and I was so happy when I found it. When I left the house, I left the book where I found it and hope that someone else got to enjoy it as much as I did. It's a simple way to brighten someone else's day.
Most of the books that I will release are most probably books that I no longer want to keep. In other words it is likely that my release books get rather low rates from me. However, I hope that the person who finds them will enjoy them and appreciate them more than I did.
In case someone wants to keep a book registered by me for their permanent collection, it is fine by me. I will be happy to know it found a new home with someone who enjoys it. But please say that in a journal note, so that I won't have to wonder about the further destiny of that book.
