December 2008: After months of undecidedness! I have taken the plunge and made the Mega Bites Cafe an OBCZ. Mega Bites can be found in Burnley on Todmorden Road across from the Woodman Pub. They have very nice meals and sandwiches to eat in or take away, and
Towneley Park, the Jewel in Burnley's Crown is literally down the road. Mega Bites is on Netstation's OBCZ finder Under UK (Lancashire. When you go for the books you don't need to buy anything but the owner of the cafe will be really pleased if you do. Thanks!!
Then: In January 2009 I asked if I could put up a window sticker and some flyers in Todmorden Railway Station and make that one official aswell!!
Both of my OBCZs can be found with more details on the OBCZwiki

2010: Early June I started to volunteer at Rosehill Post Office, sorting out their 'womens' book section. They have alsorts of books though! I go in once a week to help shelve the books donated. These are sold for 50p (paperback) and all the proceeds go directly
to The Pendleside Hospice which does excellent work. Just incase you are in Burnley - come and have a look! The post office can be found on Manchester Road(A682)near/across from the Rose and Crown Pub. The X43 bus, which is available every 20 minutes and departs
on the main route including Nelson, Burnley, Rawtenstall and Manchester bus stations, will take you/pick you up at the Rose and Crown and the bus stop to go back/arrive is just outside the post office. The Post Office closes for lunch 1-2pm and closes half
day on Tuesday.
August 2011 Great news! The Rosehill post office has just passed the £30,000 raised mark and we had a photographer come along to mark the occasion. If I can get the photo, I'll pop it up here.

I have now joined in with the Bookmooch people! My name over there is Sterile and my list is under Sandy (UK) These books are mostly not listed here at Bookcrossing but please go and have a look and mooch away!
My name comes from my work in the NHS. I have lived around the place a bit, Midsomer Norton near Bath and Dublin in Eire to name just two. Now settled for a while in my native town of Burnley, Lancashire. I do sometimes send out RABCK but these are usually
posted on the forum and BCUK and are for specials only. Please journal when you get them as it stops me worrying that they are lost.
Do not take much notice of my stats! After over a year in Beta the site is still not getting the basics right - like updating shelves and members etc. The stats represent no real idea of the amount of releasing or registering I do. I use pre-numbered labels
a lot and they are not being shown as counting for anything!! So, if you come looking please don't think I'm not active!!
IN the event that I have not replied to your mail for rings and rays.
Dodau has the executive authority to make decisions on my behalf. Any Rings/rays/boxes etc that need sorting out please PM this member only.
