ST GEORGE'S OBCZ

WATERLOOVILLE - HAMPSHIRE

Welcome to St George's Official BookCrossing Zone bookshelf.
The crossing zone is situated in the entrance porch of St George's Church hall, Hambledon Road, to the left of the church and near to the ASDA supermarket. There is free parking (2 hours) nearby in the retail park and the church hall is just up the steps and a few yards along on the left. For wheelchair access only there are a few parking spaces adjacent to the hall. The shelves will be available at any time when the hall is in use, except for private functions. The hall is open most mornings, some afternoons and a few evenings. The expected opening times are listed below, but could vary as the hall is frequently in use and the shelves could be available more often than listed. It's worth calling in if you are in the area as you may well be lucky and find it open.

The books are there for you to take and enjoy. You can also leave any books that you want to set free for others to share. If you are already a bookcrosser, you can register your books before you come and if you send a PM with the BCID number, we will catch them to the St George's bookshelf so that we can follow their travels as well. If you prefer not to join (it's annonymous,free and fun!) please write a journal entry for the book/s you have taken so that we and their previous owners can follow their journey. Let us know if you'll be returning them to St George's or setting them free in some other place. Tracking your books as they travel is fun!

Please note, that if you are a bookcrosser and you set Waterlooville up for release alerts, you will get an email every time books are left at the OBCZ. It may be something that you would like to read and you can go along and "catch" it.

The expected opening times will be:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 9.30am - 2.00pm and 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Wednesday - 9.30am - 12 mid-day
Thursday - 9.30am - 12 mid-day
Friday - 9.30am - 12 mid-day
Saturday - The OBCZ will be available most Saturdays at times when the hall is in use, mainly mornings but there are no guaranteed times and it will not be available if there is a private function.
Sunday - If you would like to come along on a Sunday morning the hall will be open until about 11.30. If the front door is closed please try the side entrance.
