Recent Book Activity

I never know what to say in these info sections... I am a mother of two, and am a librarian in a major hospital in Texas. I am completely obsessed with books and have a huge list of books that I want to read before I die - and the list keeps getting longer and longer and longer... I have been happily married for 12 years. I was born in Mississippi, but am a Texan at heart. I spent 4 of my teenage years in Austin and have lived in Houston for 10. I like to read all kinds of stuff - mostly fiction, but I have some more intellectual items on my list. I like pop fiction, but lately have been reading slightly less formulaic stuff. One of my favorites of all time is Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver.

My bookshelf is hopeless inadequate. I'm trying to get it updated, but I noticed that I no longer have many of the books on my "Available" list. (For some reason, Bookcrossing isn't letting me edit my bookshelf right now...)
