6/3/06 update:
Reading has taken a backseat to my new passion.... knitting. It even made me start a blog.
I have started listening to audio books while bike riding and while I knit. Win-win. My library doesn't have that great of a selection of audios, but hopefully they will one day.
7/12/09 update:
Okay - back to reading again, less knitting. Newest addition to the household is my Amazon Kindle!!! I am loving it so far. I am downloading the free books which are mostly classics, which I've always meant to read, but haven't. Should be a great new reading experience.

I've always enjoyed reading books, a wonderful pastime my mother instilled in me. I sooooo loved the library as a child (and still do). Remember the small neighborhood libraries? My two sisters also love to read and we all love to exchange books. I've been purchasing books most recently from the front window of a literacy program in downtown Modesto.
I can always be found with a book in my hand.
Trading books with other bookcrossers has been a real joy. I now have more books to read than ever, due to the recommendation of other bookcrossers. Lots of new to me authors ..... This is TOO much fun.

I would never have found Bookcrossing if it weren't for WheresGeorge.

Want to see where I work? I've been there for 20 years and I love my job.

If you are interested in a trade, please read the journal entries to see if I still have them in my possession. If you desire one of my TBRs, let me know and I will move it up my reading list.

If you receive a book from me, whether trade or RABCK, please be kind and make a journal entry. I like knowing that my books have survived the postal system. Thank you!

I LOVE doing RABCKS! Keep your WishList current! When I finish reading a book I check the WishList before wild releasing it.

Is YOUR information up-to-date on RABCK.com?

One of my books has dearly departed from the circulation of life. No longer will it be held in loving hands that gently turn its pages. A memorial service has been held. Please click here to pay your last respects, and with sincere gratitude to BookCemetery for the moving service.
