The B.C.C project is located in the Eastland of Nairobi, Kayole at the heart of Matopeni slum. The establishment of the Centre was in response to devastating poverty experienced in Matopeni slum that leads to multitude illiteracy and school dropout of neediest orphans, destitute and children coming from poor families and was to find a way of helping the neediest orphaned children both girls and boys escape illiteracy by establishing a school for them to introduce basic education program thus inhibit the future literacy and economic wellbeing of all the children.

B.C.C serves the orphans, the poor and the disadvantaged children from Matopeni slum and the neighbouring estates, those that drop from other schools due to, lack of school fees, poverty, uniforms and other scholastic materials. The Centre supports the orphans who have lost their parents to the HIV/AIDS pandemic, other causes of death and destitute children pushed to the streets due to economic constraints affecting their families.
