Serenity is a mixture of acceptance, gratitude, willingness, deep peace and tranquility. It comes from deep inside us.:)Once we have come up with the idea that we have control over life serenity has always been with us, even when we are ruffled by life's turmoils.:)Our souls are awaiting in calmness and tranquility, sending signals to our minds that we do not need to be disturbed.
We don't always receive the signals very clearly because often we are too busy to fix a situation or change it.:)Serenity's signals become very clear when we take the time to calm down and listen to the wise inner voice.:)When we are tranquil and serene, we learn how to truly live by wisdom. To learn how to have serenity in our lives, we must practice constantly by calming the storm in our minds.:)We can do this by meditating regularly and by simply paying attention to the place where others have found serenity.:) HAPPY SUMMER

My January 2006(now 2009) International Bookcrossing Project of poetry/quotations and art (thanks Scoobs-buddy I am so blonde I totally forgot to put that in:) journal from some of the very best:) A member has taken upon it to ignore all pleas and has kept it. So it is now June 2008 and I'm starting another. Please pm me if interested. If you are not able to ship internationally that is allright. Just pm me and I'll send the money but please look after my baby this time:) I want her home safe and sound and also if anyone has access to free photocopying I wonder if they would mind copying some pages and mailing them to me. We could keep a list of who already has mailed the copies so the whole books does not have to be done. I'd put a page for it in the journal. I know it sure helped Jessibud a lot with hers. Thank you in advance:) Have a happy summer:) It will be the same journal bcid:)

MaryJill you were a beautiful person on this earth and I'm sure your soul is keeping an eye on all your bookcrossing friends:) I'll miss you but I know you will have the brightest wings in heaven:)

I may look like I have a lot of books on my tbr shelf but that's because when we make journal entries bc does not include them in releases so I'm not really hoarding that many I promise. Also I'm getting a bit lazy cos of my bad back so sometimes I just change books I control release to travel. Ok I am now. I have lots to read.

So sorry but I can only ship to Canada, and America due to the high postal costs in Canada.....

You Are a Prophet Soul

You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.

You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul

Angel Wisdom by Terry Lynn Taylor

My favourite book of all time. I look at this book every day for it has different words of wisdom from the angels for every day of the year!

Best Friends by Marlene Rimler. [ditto]

Books that I am reading next: see my tbr:)too many to mention

www.bookcrossing.com/---/book_The-Invitation-Oriah-Mountain-Dreamer" target = "_blank" > The Invitation - Oriah Mountain Dreamer -

Read from cover to cover and learned sooooooo very much! Top of PC file. A surprise gift from Eskielover:0)

The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

[it is so beautiful that I want to share it with everyone! (thank you for sending me this wingedman)]

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul; if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty, even when it's not pretty, every day, and if you can source your own life from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "Yes!
It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children.
It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Thank you for the link Monado and very special thanks to my good friend Ams11810 making changes in my profile that takes a few minutes but for me an hour:) though I'm slowly learning for myself:)

Just started a new zone at a dollar shop at Parliament and Carlton. Actually On Parliament just past Carlton. You can't miss it as it is painted in red and has signs in the window. The owner is a young man that will go places. Took a marketing course and is very enterprising and savvy. He buys as many things as he can that are made in Canada, he is pleasant to his customers even chatting away to them and best of all he saves me tons of birdseed and, peanuts for my squirrels, and acrylic paint when he gets it in as they go fast lol:) He really liked the idea of bookcrossing but you might have to search the whole shop to find them. He's always getting new things everyday. That's why he doesn't open til 11:30 am each day as he's out buying. How he manages without help I don't know but like I said great kid:) My printer isn't working or I'd do a sign up. But just ask for the free books and he'll point the way:)

Starbucks at Yonge and Bloor In Toronto (North on Bloor) was originally a crossing but people have stopped putting books in there so if you have a chance it would be great to get it stocked again. Yonge St is a tourist street and also a haven for students and business people so they will be sure to get picked up:) Thank you:)

If you want to play online scrabble I would be delighted if you would pm me for some fun:)

EskieLover: Great friendships last forever! Love those on line scrabble games.

Thanks for your special gifts of The Invitation and THE WONDERFUL SCRABBLE DICTIONARY THAT I COULD NEVER DO WITHOUT:)

I collect angel books as you can tell by my pc collection and wish list and also books by Sark, healing books, poetry of all kinds, and Deepak Chopra and teeny tiny books

Some are to stock up my libraries at the doctor's office and for the clients at the Addiction Research Foundation where I work(ed), and of course Ben Wicks and now a coffee shop in the subway at Yonge and Eglinton and an optometrist at Parliament and Gerrard.

Even though I do release to doctor's offices, my workplace, and others where most people never register them as being found,(the most important thing is that they are being found and read or at least passed on eventually:) I go on the premise that they will be passed on and the next or the next or the next person may register them.

Doubletake at Gerrard East of Parliament is having a fab sale. 2 paperbacks for a dollar and 1 hardcover for a dollar. Got some good books there. June 2008

I am curious as to see where my registered books and those of my friends I've read end up even if it is ten years from now. And I abhor books left on shelves.( I should talk my tbr pile is sky high but will soon be given a good going over(sure I say that all the time) and I will only retain books that I really have to positively read. This promise as of March 2009

For poetry lovers my sister's own website:
www.eleanorincognito.blogspot.com" target = "_blank" >www.eleanorincognito.blogspot.com

Don't you just love this site? Many thanks to my sister Eleanor in Ottawa, and her sweetheart OBG for mailing me all those labels and sending me lots of great books and to letting me know about this fab site, OttawaBill my postman:0)And to Eskielover because without whom I could not have a wish list or and colour even and now a counter.

A great big thanks to Shaunesay for my wonderful rainbow background and to my friends who are constantly fixing up my profile for me:)
