TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM – JUNE 1 – AUG. 26

All over Seattle, there will be about 1,000 books hidden with this label on the front cover:

www.spl.org/---/bookcrossing-wraparound-sticker.jpg" alt="This Summer Read Your Future label" width="210" height="135" />

When you see one, pick it up.

Register for your free BookCrossing account.

Enter the BCID number found on the label inside the front cover.

Write a note about where you caught the book.

Read the book.

Write a review by adding a comment in the Library’s catalog

(see more info about entering to win a Kindle e-reader below)

• Now your book is ready to travel all over Seattle.

Release your book into the wild anywhere it’s likely to be caught by another teen.

• Go back to BookCrossing.com and give a clue telling where you released your book.

Track your book - journal entries allow you to see where your book is, who's reading it now, and where it goes next.

Sign up for the 2012 Teen Summer Reading Program where you can create your own summer reading book shelf, an avatar and earn badges online. Write reviews by adding comments in the catalog on the books you've read. For every three books you read and comment on, you'll automatically be entered in a drawing for a free Kindle e-reader.

You must have a Library card issued by The Seattle Public Library and be between ages 13 and 18 to participate.
