Hi Everyone!
I'm a stay-at-home mom with a part-time job and a couple of very part-time businesses--I keep pretty busy! I have a 10-year-old daughter who got very excited the morning I first told her we were going on a search for something I heard was "released into the wild." She immediately made up a song, the chorus of which was: "We're goin' on a book hunt!" We weren't successful but she thought it was great fun. I have been married for 14 years now to a very smart man--he married me, didn't he? *wink-wink*

My interests include whatever my kid is into, reading everything I can get my hands on, scouting out cool stuff to sell on eBay, singing, writing--poetry, songs and just began trying my hand at fiction--and art. I have a degree in journalism and plan to begin a Bachelors in Art Education very soon.

I found out about this website from my sister-in-law, elle311, whom I now refer to as the "Book Angel." Her enthusiasm rubbed off and now here I am! I'm hoping to capture a few wild ones and release just as many.

I truly believe "knowledge is power" which is a famous quote by someone; I just don't know who! *snort* Seriously, the more you know about a particular subject, or just in general, the more power you wield within your own sphere of influence and the more likely you are to make informed choices. That's where reading comes in!
