Extended Profile
Without a job and an office to go to, applying for new positions and trying to set up my own consultancy company at the same time, I find myself tempted by books far too often. So while I try to be good and keep working, I am also making some inroads into
Mt TBR. Which is a good thing, I guess...
Basically, I like to read anything, preferably in the original language. Favorites are Terry Pratchett (gradually working through the Discworld), Colleen McCullough, John Irving (quite close to have read all his produce), James Michener. I've been looking for
James Hogan's Giants' trilogy for a few years by now, so if anyone could spare one...
Fantasy and historical semi-true stories are my favorite categories, but I'll try any book with a nice reference.
I've decided to start a
journal entry to keep track of books I'll read that are not registered at BC (after an example on
tyvmdear's shelf). Some of these books may be available for loans, so please contact me if you're interested in any of them.
Anybody who's interested in any book I have: I'm open for trades! Just send me a PM and we'll work something out; anything AVL or TBR should be a possible release within, well... at most a few weeks.
