Extended Profile
150 books registered by 22nd July 2011.
170 books by 1st October 2011.
200 by 27th April 2012.
Some books just beg to be shared! I look forward to more books being caught and commented on!
I'm into food, nature, environmental protection, historical fiction, a little sci-fi ...
..and books! The odd self-help type book can tempt me and I also seem to like a good post-apocalyptic book!
Since joining BookCrossing I've been reading a broader variety of books but am sure to settle soon to my favourite genres. Books which I like to read and then share include those by Ian Banks/ Ian M.Banks, Alexander Mccall Smith, Spencer Johnson and Tracy Chevalier.
Some of my favourite books at present, those of which I'm less likely to release, include those by Terry Pratchett, Philip K. Dick, Jared Diamond, those on Green Issues and historical literature; especially Anglo-Saxon and Viking reference and fiction.
Pubs and cafés seem to be good release zones. I've been put off leaving books in airports, shopping centres or other public places where they constantly clean now - as the books tend to get thrown in the bin which is heartbreaking!
Usually I'm happy to send books within Europe but the book I have sent the furthest is to Brazil www.bookcrossing.com/---/7799378
I keep losing this link so forgive me for plonking it here http://www.wikihost.org//w/obcz/countries. Phew!
