Extended Profile
I am an introspective woman who is currently searching for something that is most likely right before her. I have been married for twenty-two years and have a young prodigy, but...something is missing.
My love of reading blossomed with Emily Bronte and my desire to write with J. D. Salinger. I served my existential time with de Beauvoir, Camus, Hesse, and Sartre. Writers who knock my socks off are Dostoevsky, Hemingway, and Flannery O'Conner. I consider Anne
Lamott and Natalie Goldberg my mentors and imaginary girlfriends.
Sometimes I get attached to one writer. Sometimes it's a genre. I am currently immersed in short stories and have a newfound respect for southern writers.
I love trading and sending off those books which have outgrown their stay with me. Keep checking my available books for updates. You should know, however, that I am a procrastinator.
Does anyone have any Writers at Work: The Paris Review Interview collections?
Quirky interests include Pacific Coast shipwrecks and Jack the Ripper. Weird, huh?
My artistic outlets include gardening, writing short stories, creating mosaics, photography, and interior design.
