I an 54 years old and have two grown sons. I like to read mysterys best, but will read just about anything. I belong to a local book group that meets once a month from Sept. to May. We also meet in June, but we have dinner and decide what books we will read in the coming year. We are starting our 5th year and we have read everything from John Adams to John Grisham. I have been leaving copies of my Reader's Digest and Guidepost ,that have been gifts from my sister, in area hospital waiting rooms for over 10 years.
I guess I feel closer to my books, as I really hate to part with them, until my husband tells me he can't find his way into my "office" because of the books. He will LOVE this idea. He isn't a big reader, (daily paper, magazines about cars). I belong to our local public library's Friends Group and am active in our church Women's group.
