Recent Book Activity

I'm an avid reader. The addiction started really young with Richie Rich and Spider-Man comic books, and then extended into books with text and pictures and now, mostly text books, but picture books are still a lot of fun, especially now that I'm introducing my baby to the joy of books and reading.

I've worked in the book industry as a bookseller since 1992 when I started working part-time at an Ottawa area bookstore. I currently live in Hamilton, Ontario and work for the McMaster University bookstore (Titles). I'm a writer and editor, mostly of speculative fiction and horror, but there have also been endeavours in writing non-fiction and plays for children.

Painful as releasing a loved book into the world will be, I love the premise, and love the thought of being able to share reading in such an excited and unpredictable way.
