I am from Argentina. My husband and me are Medical Doctors. We have been in the United States many times since 1992. We have lot of relatives and friends there, and we have attended many meetings on Cardiology. We have 4 chidren, the oldest one, who is 15, is a sophomore at an American Overseas school(www.lincoln.edu.ar) and lives with my parents in Buenos Aires City, 1400 kilometers far. The other 3 are being homeschooled by me and 2 English teachers. My husband doesn't speak any word in English, little does he understand, either. But, our plans are moving to the States by 2003...I have been reading books and magazines ONLY in English since 12 years ago. I could improve my English's skills in that way. Travelling and socializing have helped a lot. I am very interesting on AUDIOBOOKS, because I need to improve my listening and talking skills. Besides, it would be VERY helpful for us, in order to reach our goals, to find audiobooks to my 3 younger children(they are 10; 9 and 7 years old). I am using Calvert Homeschooling system, and, it is designed for native students. This means they don't offer audiobooks nor videos/DVD. I am really homeschooling with ESL, so, I would appreciate YOUR advice.
