Dit wordt onderhouden door Phoenix-Flight, Inge1983 en maid-of-kent. De plank hangt in de bovenbar: Trap op, links af, rechts de gang door. De bar is meestal niet in gebruik, maar de plank is vrij toegankelijk.

Cultuurcentrum Griffioen is onderdeel van de Vrije Universiteit. Veel van het publiek zijn studenten die op Uilenstede wonen. Het theater biedt een uitgebreid programma aan met veel cabaret, allerlei muziekstijlen, theater en dans. Daarnaast is er een filmzaal waar een divers assortiment aan films en documentaires wordt vertoond. Tevens worden er regelmatig exposities en lezingen georganiseerd.
Verder is er een erg uitgebreide keus aan allerlei cursussen te volgen, zoals yoga. filosofie, cabaret en keramiek.

Hello! This is the bookshelf for OBCZGriffioen. This OBCZ is located in Cultural Centre The Griffin, and is maintained by Phoenix-Flight, Inge1983 and maid-of-kent. The shelf is in the upstairs bar. Go up the stairs, turn left and take the hallway on the right. The bar is usually not in use, but the shelf is freely accessible.

The Griffin also happens to be the location for the BookCrossing Anniversary Convention 2010.

Monday-Friday: 09.00-23.00 h.
Saturday: 10.00-17.00 h.
Closed on Sunday.
How to get there (Dutch description with map of local area)

Cultural Centre The Griffin is part of the VU University. It's located at the campus 'Uilenstede' and many of it's visitors are students. The theatre offers a varied program with much cabaret, different music-styles, plays and dance. There is also a small movie theatre showing an assortment of films and documentaries. Lectures and art exhibitions are regular as well. Further more there is a very elaborate choice in classes and courses, varying from yoga to philosophy and from stand-up comedy to ceramics.
