I currently live in Canberra. I have also lived in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. My husband and I mainly moved back to Canberra to buy a house and start a family and we have managed to achieve both! I have two December born boys and we are expecting #3 in April 2006. I just love the area I live in (Weston Creek) as it is very leafy and full of lovely open spaced areas that I truly hope will stay that way during my life time. Just perfect spots to have a read. Something I used to do daily but with the addition of children, reading for myself has become quite a challenge. At least I read to the boys which makes up for the lack of "me" time.

I am purely a ficton girl. Non-ficton has never grabbed me. I just don't seem that interested in reading about someone elses life. I would rather become engrossed in ficton to take me away to a fantasy life! I have tried a few historical novels over the years but much to my mothers disdain I have found no pleasure. My favourite authors would be Marian Keyes, Jane Green and Janet Evanovich (huge Stephanie Plum fan). The other types of novels I love to get my hands on are contemporary Australian ficton.

My birthday is in September and I look forward to it each year as my friends and family know to buy me books, books and more books! I actually still have one and a half to read from last year. Hopefully by the time this next birthday rolls on I will have finished and who knows I may even release!
