Hello everybody!

I´ve already been around for a while so I figured it´s about time to complete my bookshelf with some information about me. I´m crazy about cycling, enjoy almost every activity involving mountains, like movies, photography, meeting friends and well....reading.
I found out about bookcrossing through a local radio station airing a brief feature about it. I joined immediatly and think it´s a wonderful idea. Even if most of the released books are never heard of again, it´s still nice to know that they are out there somewhere (maybe even appreciated) and might turn up years from now.
I read mostly fiction. Preferably strange stories involving weird charakters ;-)
Suggestions are always welcome!

Some of my favorite authors:
Paul Auster; Haruki Murakami; Albert Camus; Franz Kafka; Italo Calvino; John Irving; Patrick Süskind; Hermann Hesse; Bill Bryson; David Sedaris; Erich Kästner; Sten Nadolny; Amelie Nothomb; Stefan Zweig...and many more

I also have a certain weakness for Expressionism and Surrealism both in art and literature. Some authors belonging to that genre I enjoyed and recommend:
Germans: Gottfried Benn, Georg Trakl, Alfred Döblin, Georg Heym
French: André Breton, Boris Vian, Raymond Queneau
Russians: Wladimir Majakowski, Daniil Charms, Mikhail Bulgakow

I've created an account for my PC collection here. Feel free to browse.

If any of the books on my shelf sparks your interest just go ahead and pm me! I love to trade and I will ship internationally.
