Moo!

I accompanied my wife to these bookcrossing things and found it rather fun. The meetings in the pub are good fun, the bookcrossers are great people, and, whilst I read few books myself (too many magazines to read* - no time!), I find the bookcrossing idea a very good one. (It also complements freecycle - another very good idea to recycle things that are no longer wanted/needed)
and I have a nutty wife (daftmoo) who loves reading and devours books!

I'm a member of the Coventry bookcrossers group. We meet up at least once or twice a month, usually in Liquid bar in Coventry (in the arcade). New recruits are always welcome! To get in touch with us all, join our yahoo group!

I'm a railway design engineer by trade - I design railway track for a living - and good fun it is too. The railways are both a job and an interest for me, and yes, sometimes, it is my fault when the trains aren't running!

* - no, not rubbish celeb things or fan mags or anything like that, I read "boring" magazines; 'Modern Railways', 'The Railway magazine', 'the rail engineer', 'railstaff', 'new civil engineer'...
