Thanks to everyone who participated in my Paranormal Bookbox!
FOR MY FELLOW PARANORMAL FANS: I just discovered a great new series I want to recommend. If you haven't already, you should definitely read Alexis Morgan's Paladins series, which starts with "Dark Protector." Here's the link to my journal entry for that one.

Dark Protector

Thanks to everyone who participated in my 10-Star bookbox. It arrived safely back home.

My bookbox rules are simple - Just take the books you want from the box and replace them with books of an equal value. That can mean you take one paperback out and put one paperback in, or it can mean you take out two paperbacks and put in one hardback. It's whatever you think is fair, as long as the box stays full. And the theme for this box, of course, is books you love and would recommend to someone else. Also, I'd like to be PM'd when each person receives and ships the box, so everyone can keep track of its progress here. Thanks, all!

I love books and have since long before I was old enough to read. So, I was pretty excited when my friend, Caroline, introduced me to this site. Through it, I hope I can share some of my favorite books with others who appreciate the beauty of the written word and a well-told story.
As far as personal information, there's not a lot to tell. I'm a South Carolina native and a journalist in Pawleys Island, just south of Myrtle Beach. You'll often find me reading by the ocean. In addition to books, I love photography and music, though I have no great ability with either.

I'm willing to trade books via mail if they're listed as available (or in some cases TBR) and we can probably work something out if it's listed as "reserved." If you really want to read a book in my personal collection, it doesn't hurt to ask. I might lend it to you or start a bookring, but I'll probably want it back at some point.

I'm also a member at BookMooch.com. If you haven't checked out that site, take a look.
