hello, welcome and thanks for stopping by :)
My Shelf is a bit muddled up as far as AVL/TBR etc is concerned, I tried to sort it out but it is a work in progress since some of my books are being stored away from home and I haven't set eyes on them for 6 months. If there is anything you are interested
in, just shoot me a PM and I'll see if I have got it here.
Some (not so) subtle hints for RABCK's or Birthday Surprises ;)
I love books written by European Authors (incl UK) either in English or German Language, with medieval fiction being my favourite genre, don't mind the odd chick-lit, crime (a la Montalbano), Poetry either.
funny or silly Fridge Magnets, B&W Postcards, something naughty LOL(I'll leave that to your interpretation), Bookcrossing stickers and other supplies.
Please, nothing edible... no choccies, lollies, biscuits, teabags etc. - Australian Quarantine is greedy and often check if it is worth for them to keep ;)
My address is on RABCK.com.
Wichtel Alert :)
If you would like to chat you can skype me @ makita.21
please identify yourself with your BC name, cheers :)

Reading and Writing have been a lifelong passion for me. Literacy is something that we tend to take for granted, I could not imagine what my life would be like without books, being bilingual has given me even greater opportunities!
The concept of BC is right down my alley and I have embraced it wholeheartedly :)
Read, Release, RABCK ... all part of the fun!
A lot of my books are going to be wild released, to me it is the essence of BookCrossing, so if you send me a book that you don't wish to end up "in the wild" please let me know (OBVIOUSLY that excludes rings and rays)
interestingly I have a lot more luck getting books journalled that are wild released than with those ones that i have passed on to friends or family.

Your Result: Thematic dropper
You release in themes. The pianotuner in a jazzbar, a suitable boy at the gifttable of a wedding of a friend, the Minotaur in the centre of a maze, a prayer for Owen Meany in a baseball stadium, name the title, you release it somewhere suitable. |
