I believe children should be surrounded by books. I pick them up at garage sales and thrift stores then either donate them to public health clinics or set them free via Bookcrossing.

I am the proud mother of a 11 year old boy who lights up my life. I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, rubberstamping and gardening.

Well, I am a real slow reader...and I have the bad habit of reading too many books at one time...and not finishing any of them. I keep a book in my car, many by my bed, one in my purse and a stack in my kitchen. One can never have too many books!

MRWiley has a link in her profile for a neat site called PostCrossing.com. This site promotes sending postcards around the world.

still thinking...

You Are Indigo

Of all the shades of blue, you are the most funky, unique, and independent.

Expressing yourself and taking a leap of faith has always been easy for you.

Your Element Is Air

You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world.

And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly.

Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life.

You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful.

You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person.

With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that!
