If you see anything on my Available shelf just ask and I'll see what i can do - international is usually OK, finances permitting. I'm always happy to hear from friendly Bookcrossers, either to exchange books or just for a chat :).
Just to say I don't do Bookrings or Bookrays as I haven't the time and don't want to hold things up for others.
A bit about me - I'm an ex-Hiv/Aids worker but trained as an archaeologist/ anthropologist. I now work with adults with learning disabilities.
Things I love - classical music, animals and thier welfare, books (yeah really!) especially Dickens, Twain, Forster, McCall Smith, Anne Tyler, Carol Shields, Salley Vickers, Sarah Waters ... too many to list here really.
Also children's literature both past and present, poetry, Bill Hick's comedy, tennis (watching, not playing), classical history, film, good food and wine.
I live happily on my own in NW London surrounded by family and friends or perhaps I should say on my own except for two beautiful cats, Hester, a hyper-active tortoiseshell, and Boris, a black semi-long haired ex-stray with a seemingly insatiable appetite.
NB. I do a lot of Controlled Releases nowadays as my Wild Releases are seldom successful. When I do wild release I like to choose an OBCZ, usually the one to be found at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington.
