I am a visual artist and a creative writer. I teach English at a university and enjoy reading and sharing what I've read with others. When I find a good read, I usually return to it several times to savor the sights, smells, and to feel what the author has created. To me, good writing awakens our senses and brings us back to life. Southeren literature is my favorite and two of my favorite writers are Flannery O'Conner and Kate Chopin.
