I discovered Bookcrossing in December 2006, when I picked up Citizen Girl at my (then) local coffee shop (Meeting Grounds - also an OBCZ) in Madison, WI - I've been hooked ever since. Because of Bookcrossing I read 15 books in the first 6 months of 2007! That was more than the combined total I'd read over the last 6 years.

I've had lots of fun releasing books too - in coffee shops; at the airport; the hair salon; the doctor's surgery etc, and have had a few catches (I have close to a 50% catch rate). Twice I have also watched releases being taken, but as yet they haven't been journaled, so I'll just wait in anticipation of the day....

I have also participated in a bookray started by MyssCyn. The Sweet Potato Queen's Guide To Men which I completed on 23 June 2007. It was absolutely HILARIOUS and I just had to keep reading bits to my husband, while roaring with laughter!!

Also participated in a Roaming RABCK Skin Tight(Carl Hiaasen) that I received from etamayo87. It is continuing it's roaming.
