Retired Reg. nurse. My husband ( also retired R.C.M.P.) and I have moved from a hobby farm to a condo in a beautiful town of 22,000. We are on the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River directly across is the U.S.A. We now have time to read, kayak, cross country ski and skate ( love winter in Canada) .We cycle on the many bike paths, have a large dog who loves playing frisby. We also like to go for long walks with our dog and short outings on our boat. Some fishing and swimming. The computer has been a great tool and I like what it can do for me. Bookcrossings sounds like a good adventure and I like adventure stories. I enjoy biographies, about politics, true stories, fiction, healthy eating cook books, outdoor activities ie: bird watching, history,some "who dunnits", humour and books written by well known authors. Especially Canadian authors. Very interested in books that will encourage our grandchildren to keep reading. Ages 8,9,12. My grandaughter likes Shel Silverstein. Enough about me. Levina
