Extended Profile
The books in the picture are just a small part of my collection. Some of them must be kept for re-reading, for sentimental reasons, or because they're autographed. Most are part of the unbelievably mountainous ToBeRead collection, which stretches around
the basement, spills onto the floor, marches up the stairs to form little puddles around each comfortable reading chair in the living room and reappears in the bedroom in stacks on the headboard, the dresser, the nightstand, and (of course) the floor next
to the bed. Oh, and there are in-process books in the bathrooms, the camper, the cars and probably some places I've temporarily forgotten.
Although I think BookCrossing is an exciting and wonderful thing, I can't yet give up my habit of reselling my paperbacks at the used book store, because they have such a great credit plan! If they only had a website so I could send you there, too. Private Message me if you live in or travel through South Central LP Michigan, I'll be glad to give you directions. Even if you don't resell, the purchase prices are low enough to feed a life-time addiction.
I have been inspired to sort through the hardbacks and read as many as possible. I also have a new excuse for purchasing hardbacks! You can find them listed here, along with caught and/or re-released paperbacks. If I listed it as available and you're interested, I'll consider any requests for swaps, rays or RABCKs.
